Animal Care Centre

The Animal Care Centre (ACC) is committed to providing excellence in research support to all UBC researchers. In addition to our housing facilities and services for animals, the ACC provides veterinary and diagnostic services, training and expertise in laboratory animal medicine. The ACC also provides veterinary oversight of all animal facilities at UBC.

ACC veterinarians and technicians are available to participate in collaborative research projects with UBC researchers. Areas of interest include animal welfare, anesthesia and analgesia, surgery and wildlife medicine. Office hours are from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. Our phone number is 604-822-6283.
