Pre-review of protocols is available through the Animal Care Committee (ACC) if protocols are submitted by the ACC published deadlines.
Protocol pre-review is intended to assist researchers from both a veterinary and administrative perspective, with the goal of refinement and reduction or elimination of provisos that can occur during the full review by the ACC, which expedites the protocol approval process.
A clinical veterinarian will review your draft animal care protocol. You will be contacted through the RISe system if there are any suggested or required changes. Any changes must be made through RISe by the deadline provided in pre-review comments. If you do not want pre-review of your protocol, please contact Suzanne Richardson.
