SOPs, Policies, and Guidelines

Excellence in research is based on outstanding science and adherence to ethical, professional, and regulatory standards associated with the conduct of studies. Standard operating procedures, policies, and guidelines help educate individuals on the proper and current techniques accepted.

The policies and guidelines governing research are intended to support the University’s commitment to the highest standards of integrity, respect, academic freedom, and accountability in pursuit of its research mission including the commitment to following all laws and regulations related to scientific research.


Standard Operating Procedures

SOPs are made available to investigators as a way to describe ACC reviewed and approved procedures that may be repetitive or repeated in many animal use protocols. They are key in ensuring good animal care and welfare.
