ACC Documents Updated

The UBC Animal Care Committee has updated several key policies and procedures. All updated documents are available on the ACC SOPs, Policies, and Guidelines page.

Updated Policies:

• Policy 14 – Post Approval Monitoring: Restructured with clearer policy statements
• Policy 23 – Allowable Procedures in Animal Housing Spaces: Enhanced framework and responsibilities
• Policy 25 – Anesthesia of Animals: Added policy statements per CCAC guidelines
• Policy 27 – Husbandry and Environmental Enrichment: Aligned with CCAC welfare assessment guidelines

Updated SOP:

• TECH 24 – Surgical Oocyte Collection from Xenopus laevis: Reclassified from policy to SOP with updated procedures
