Supplies and consumables increases effective May 2022

The current economic conditions with escalating prices of goods and services continue to present challenges for many industries, including the animal-science based research community.

Laboratory and pharmaceutical supplies are in high demand and costs are approximately 15-20% higher than one year ago. Furthermore, lead times for materials such as rodent enrichment devices are stretched out for several weeks. Some of our key suppliers and vendors have notified us of substantial increases in product and delivery costs. Due to changes in the world market, we are expecting further increases in the coming months.

Animal Care Services sets prices for supplies and materials on a cost recovery basis. To reflect current market costs, we regret that we need to update our pricing effective May 1, 2022 for a number of supplies and consumables.
