The ACS Animal Welfare Committee - comprised of Animal Care Services staff and veterinarians – aims to further improve the welfare of animals under our care. The Committee is actively seeking opportunities for increased application of the 3Rs (Replacement, Reduction and Refinement).
One way to support the 3Rs is to identify surplus animals and/or tissues that can be donated to other research labs. Our goal is to make it easy to donate animals and simple to review any available animals across the program.
