Important Updates to ACS Rodent Training

The animal user training program has been updated for 2026. Please note the following changes before registering:

  • Updated Documentation: Revised course outlines and rubrics are now in effect for all courses.
  • Introduction to Anesthesia of the Laboratory Rodent (RA): Primary registration now covers Inhalant methods only. A separate link for Injectable training is provided upon completion.
  • Introduction to Aseptic Techniques in Rodent Surgery (RSX): Registration is now split into two tracks. Select either Sterile Tip or Full Sterile based on your Animal Use Protocol.
  • New Blood Collection (BC) Course: New online course added, with optional hands-on certification.
  • New Registration Links: All WPL course registration links have changed. Please update your internal lab documentation as needed.
