As of February 1, 2027, the Rodent Blood Collection Course will be mandatory for all researchers performing rodent blood collection procedures.
Experienced researchers who currently perform recovery blood collection or have prior demonstrated competency may be eligible for assessment-based certification instead of completing the full course.
