As noted in our January 30 announcement, live animal shipments from Charles River Laboratories, Inotiv (Envigo), The Jackson Laboratory, and Taconic Biosciences will not be scheduled for the week of November 9, as Remembrance Day falls on Wednesday, November 11. These vendors rely on fixed delivery schedules, and this adjustment helps avoid extended transit times and supports animal welfare.
If you require animals around this time, we recommend arranging delivery for the week of November 2 or using another approved vendor. All other animal transfer and procurement processes remain unchanged. Please contact the ACUP Procurement Team at anca.orders@ubc.ca if you would like help with planning.
